UPDATES!

Hello everyone,

Yeah, it’s been a long while and I’m quite sorry about that. The past 2 weeks has been quite busy at this end. Closing the session at school, rounding off my technology training program, and trying to enjoy (and not endure) the one week break I have from work with my kids; it has been such an eventful period.

My 4-week-long training at the W-tec’s Networking for Success Project came to an end the last week of July and we had a “Graduation Ceremony” on the 2nd of Aug.
It was a rewarding time as other participants from the previous programs were there. Not everyone was able to make it as there was an heavy downpour that morning. The rain was also responsible for our starting the program late, but thank God, we still had a great time.
A number of us were given the opportunity to showcase our project-work.. Mine is actually a blog for mothers and mothers-to-be and I’ll love it very much if you’ll just check it out http://wemamasblog.blogspot.com. I look forward to reading your comments, thank you!

You wonder why I’m going on and on about this, well, after this I really believe everyone should be given an opportunity to learn to make use of the ICT tools. U may think this is not an issue (if it is not in your part of the world), but it is in my part of the world. Yes, we are making progress but anyone in Nigeria will agree with me that there is still a lot of work to be done for us to make the use of ICTs effective. I think I should leave that topic till another day!

C ya soon!
